All hell is breaking loose now! It's raining scaffold poles, NOT stair rods, forked lightening, LOUD thunder, and it's darker now 16.34, than it is at 23.00!

It's pishing it down here in reekie but no thunderstorms as yet - although thunderstorms are great for photies - any shots, Dayvo?

Silly merthbrations this evening. Can I celebrate "Beginner's Luck"? My Team leader won the first stage of the Tour.

The shop selling Maltesers today, had a special offer of two boxes for the price of one. How could I resist? Tea please. Who will bribe me for the second one?

Ms. tdr1nka & I have just returned from going to visit Hilldodger at the 'Victorian Days' in Crystal Palace park and I had a ride on a penny farthing which was very unnerving. It also counts as my first ride on a 'fixie' too.

A Hot Tub - in the shape of a large Tea Cup!

There is a website at dutchtub.com and a picture below. Please note that I have already invited the man in shorts to show us how to use it.
It uses a wood burning stove and it is alledgely carbon-neutral.

Major storm brewing here! Thunderbolts and lightening, very very frightening . . . !

Heard on the news this morning that the Weather Centre recorded 5,500 lightening ground-strikes during the storm yesterday (in the Oslo area), winds up to 23 m per second, and a quarter of the (normal) July rainfall fell in four hours!
It's pissing down now (just got home from work, almost in time) and will be for the next 2-3 days!
