EDIT - I just read it properly, and presume that I'm the other denizen?
Cor, I really can't cope this week. Mr Plax broke the washing machine, flooded the kitchen, had a strop, calmed down, fell down the stairs and had another strop. Silly man. The new washing machine has arrived today and now my dad has to come and plumb it in. So we have no water as it has been switched off. Any tea going since I can't put the chuffin kettle on here!

I agree with Wafflycat about Captain Picard - in a recent episode of Star Trek TNG, he was on "holiday", by a swimming pool and he was wearing just his swimming trunks . Wot lovely legs. How old is he?

I have had a busy afternoon watching lots of bicycles at Pedal in the Park. Also met Mickel.

Patrick Stewart was born in about 1940 IIRC. And the episdode you refer to is "Captain's Holiday" which would have been a 1990... so he's have been about 50.

Patrick Stewart is 68 and it was his Birthday, 6 days ago.
If you are a fan of Mr. Stewart's pins then don't bother watching the X-Men films as he is in a wheelchair in all 3!

But if you are really referring to Cpt. Jean Luc Picard, then I'm terribly sorry to inform you that he hasn't actually been born yet.
