Who has been in here tidying up? I cannot find anything.

Oh yes well, the sugar and teabags are in the fridge. The teapot is in the microwave. The milk? that was in the cupboard. Fortunatealy the biskits were in their usual place.

Home made bread, and some proper butter for toast anyone?

Mmmm toast...

Yes please!

Yeah, other people's kitchens - one of the great mysteries of life. Always take a little while to master. Teabags? Can't find them? Stop looking for your own tea caddy, and think outside the box. Discover them in now very obvious canister marked "tea"... Now, where would this person be likely to keep teaspoons...

Mine is especially confusing as it has no in built drawers, so all the stuff you expect to find in them (cutlery, tin opener etc), is in little Ikea chests of drawers on the worktop, nicely inconspicuous.

One of the advantages of living alone is that you can keep everything you need outside on the worktop. It's a bit of a panic though when visitors arrive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been trying to find a thread called something like "Tip of the Day" or "for the day" or similar. I have tried an advanced search without success. Does anyone recognise the thread that I mean, or remember the name?

Now found, the old-fashioned way, trawling back throught the titles.

I had tried the title, and then just Tip and day, without success. Are there any important things to remember when searching?

Is that tea ready yet, TheDoctor, or are you too busy making more helpful suggestionsl?;)

I just had a bit of a discombobulation. I was looking at "New Posts" and clicked on the Tea thread, or so I thought, but I ended up going into "Life and Politics". aarrgggh :sad:

Has anyone else noticed that Admin's description of The Cafe is "Pop in for virtual tea, coffee, and scones and have a natter about anything at all"?
