And we'd miss you Speicher!
Honestly, I don't see what all the fuss is about. 'Middle-class simpering' indeed!
*looks around at cheap studio flat neatly sandwiched between railway line and motorway*. I'd far sooner be here than in (Get A) 'Life and Politics' any day.
*refills mugs, sticks little finger out'

If you are going to stick your finger out, I think you should be drinking from a tea cup instead of a mug.:smile: And have a saucer to put your dunked biskit on, but please do not tip any spillage in your saucer into your tea cup.:ohmy::smile:

Some on the 'other' tea thread just want a good old working class bunch of fives to shut 'em up!
And then a nice cup of tea to help get them over the shock:biggrin:;)

OH! Sticking out the little finger means your posh? No wonder I've not hitched many lifts!

Saucer? What is this 'Saucer' of which you speak? I'm drinking a last cup of Earl Grey from a Tesco mug before turning in for the night. I need my beauty sleep, as anyone who's met me will attest.

See you on the morrow!

I think we need to start making a concession for c*ff** drinkers really, we're obviously far too elite!

How was your day then UM?
I had a cycling lesson today, it was mainly to get a critique of my riding and to see what Cycling Instructors do as after the summer I'm going to train to be one!

Hooray for Mrs. Mort and happy trails!:biggrin::biggrin:
I'm off to Ireland tomorrow with Miss tdr1nka who finished school today
and I'll see Mrs tdr1nka for the first time in nearly three weeks so I won't mind any rain either! Maybe not for Mrs. t's 6 hour round trip to collect us from the airport tho!

Who's for tea? Kettle's just boiled.

I should be heading off to work but I am waiting in to see if Etyres are coming to fix my punctured wheel. I don't know what time there are going to be here and it could be anytime in the day even though I asked for first or last appointment.

How is everyone today?

I dunno. I was in a cafe over the weekend that served tea in a mug, on a saucer.

<hums along for a moment to Nik Kershaw's The Riddle> This finding music on Youtube is fun, although I only remember the songs I want to look up once I'm home away from the computer and next day I always forget a few - until I get home, say D'oh! try to remember to look it up the next day... I should make a list...

So, do I need to wade into the alternative Tea thread in P and L again?

Uncle Mort, you may be on your travels by now, but I'm very glad to hear about Mrs Mort, and hope you all have a great time. And you too Tdr1nka.

I am in need of Tea, please. Just had a bit of a disagreement with a neighbour.

Today is scrap paper collection day, so I put out a bag, from which a large quantity of shredded paper must have fallen. So after the recycling van had been round, I decided to go and sweep it up. The neighbour came out of the house to retrieve her Garden Rubbish wheelie bin, and said she should be doing the sweeping up because the shredded paper was from her scrap paper! Well, of course, I just carried on and finished the job off! ;) I am an argumentative so and so aren't I?:smile::smile:
