:rolleyes:Would you guess that while I typed that post, a tiny voice from the back of my mind piped up saying that maybe I ought to check the anatomy of a hamster before I made such a blase assumption.

Curse you Zoologists and your all encompassing knowledge of things 'animally'!

Sorry! It's just one of those things people say quite often - well, not about hamsters, but often about elephants - they have 4 knees you know! NO THEY DON'T! No animal has 4 knees. Some animals have NO knees, granted (many cetaceans - although even some of them have vestigial internal hind legs). But I can't think of any vertebrates that have no elbows, except maybe fish - and they still have 'limbs' just not quite the same as ours...

Sorry, I'll shut up now...

I do know that Giraffes have no vocal chords.

Found out when we auditioned one for the band years ago, very disappointing actually seeing as it took us ages to find a microphone stand that would reach!

We really, really, must have a Tea? getogether some time. I know Waffles is a bit tied up just now, what with Mr Waffles being plastered and all that, but maybe after that, we should have a real tea party. Find a spot that's fairly easy for all of us to get to and organise something...

*scoffs more pie*

Sounds a good idea.

If you get a whiff of something fruity baking - I've got a very large fruit cake baking in the oven. Should be ready to come out of the oven in about 40 mins

Hey, Waffles has an oversized bun in her oven!

Really, we should have a get togther. We'll need a lot of notice I suspect, for people to weave it into their diaries and so as many as possible can come. And a venue. And a Hooooooooooooooooooooooge teapot.

Well, I'm off home, after an exciting day in the Tea? thread. Got to go shopping on the way home and then decide which leftovers to use up for supper tonight - the half tin of tuna or the half bag of Shetland Lamb mince. Having had pasta two nights running, I might do a chilli on rice, with the mince.

See you all in the morning!

I would like something stronger that Tea. In the Cycle Chat mini-league for the Tour de France, I am currently 143 points away from the leader, and he has not got Sastre in his team.:blush::smile:

Good thing there is now a Beer Thread, lots of virtual drinks may be required :biggrin:
