ok, good, in that case I'll have a cup thanks... I was wondering if it was something that brewed for ages and then came out of the pot with a bit of a spurt and left dribbles all over the kitchen worktop...
Dear god, did I really just say that!
Any shop that sells teapots, BTW, should allow you to test them with water before buying. I have a teapot that dribbles like buggery, but I'm too mean to buy another.
It must be genetic. My mum has a little milk jug that is also a useless pourer, but she won't buy another unless she can find one that matches the shade of blue of the teapot and mugs....

Oh yes, I started work.
Well, I took a six week temporary job, and stayed for four years. Not in the same job, got to work in lots of different departments, advertising, exports, etc etc, and doing factory tours in French.
Time for Tea? Got a busy afternoon ahead, watching the Tour, and/or sitting in the garden.

This weekend I shall be mostly knitting a little hoodie for Oliver for his birthday. I also have to adjust the tail on his monkey, which I sewed on before I'd checked the length, and it's really too long. Of course, I sewed it on good and proper, so unpicking and then unravelling a bit would be a very tiresome prospect. Instead I intend to do some pruning, and then sew up the end really well to prevent unravelling.

Oh god... I was 9. I don't know why I'd always assumed you were older than me FM, but....
I feel old now...
I was also living in a beautiful country, albeit one a little more afflicted by violence - Northern Ireland... Must get back there on bike sometime.
