Ta. One sugar.

The creaking was driving mad. And it was driving Mrs Uncle Phil mad, and she was driving me even madder. It had to go. And anyway, I was worried it might be me creaking.

Now I'll know it's me creaking.

The envelope was coming to bits, but there was enough of it left to have your name on it, and it contained a metal thingy. I suppose I did put it through the right door...? Anyway, the one I dropped off wasn't the one I originally saw, which means I must still have the one I originally saw. I just found the one you got (or didn't get) first.

All clear now?

Tea, one sugar, coming up.

Mystery then... It's the blue door, round the side, in the Mews bit...

If you got the wrong door, someone will be very mystified....;)

That's excellent, almost as good as 'prune-headed divot', which you used on bonj in the fixie thread...

Perhaps we should all go about putting random small bits of bike in envelopes and posting them through random letterboxes. We could call it Art.

And I have just enjoyed a good muffin.

I dunno, I left a good hour before replying to this thinking Waffles would get there first!

Must be the custard slowing her down!
I'll never look at a custard cream in the same way ever again.

Miloat, you should be able to feel if the pedal axle bearings are knacked if you rotate and rock them by hand, keeping the crank still.
I may be utterly wrong of course but I have had pedal bearings that only 'knocked' at slow speeds because I was pushing harder than at higher speeds when the 'knock' completely disappeared!
It took fuggin ages to work out where the 'knock' was coming from too.

I think I was the Doc's way today. I was down in Hitchin and then the other side of Stevenage, villages Gravely & Benington. It was very wet.

Hitchin is about 7 miles that way *points* and I cycled through Graveley on the way to work. And yes, it was most rainy.
