Loose cranks and warm buns - reminds me of a title of a book.

Tight heads and loose balls - it was about Rugby  (the game, not the place).

Jeez. Did a 21 km ride, so that's 200 km in the weekend. The elephant appears to have come back for sloppy seconds...
Still, at least I got some co**ee and cat-brain cake. And some lemon cake. And two cups of tea. And a copy of 'The Boys' Handbook' published 1981. The section on computers has a vision of the future where we all have a 'computer receiver - transmitter' at home and text can 'be shown directly on a video screen'.
Nah! It'll never catch on...
I'm still waiting for hovercars, jetpacks and silver jumpsuits myself.:becool:

I tried to go out and make a day of it today. But did not have enough grub and hit the wall.
Probably my last chance to go out until next may looking at the forecast.

Tea? Earl Grey for NT?
Thanks, Doc.

I have finally got rid of sent the girls home again. They have left such a mess and broken a rather costly and favorite ornament of a Ming Dynasty armoured horse I bought from the V&A museum over 20 years ago. It is not repairable unless I do a 'Terracotta Army' restoration on it.

I wouldn't have minded so much if it was an accident and they owned up and said sorry but both denied that they broke it and one even said that it was already like that (in a hundred pieces on the floor!).

In other news: I have become a singing extra in a music video this evening!

Oh heck. That's a pain...

Youngsters have a very good ability to swear black-was-blue that it wasn't me, it was like that already and someone else did it and ran away, I know I did when I was 12!

Tea? Or can I offer you some juice of Merlot grapes? I think the yeast may have got to this lot too...

Cheese?

Yes, it is! For very, very deeply coloured values of rose.
I can offer you some white Vinho Verde. I wouldn't offer you red wine anyhow - I know you don't like it.
Red Leicester, Applewood smoked Cheddar, or Wensleydale? And have an oatmeal cracker.
