Mornings!
Just about to head over to an air museum. Having signally failed to steal an ellyfant we're gonna try and get a Spitfire instead! I should have brought the larger of my panniers...

On your return, trinka, we must meet up and I can let you have one of my stable for detatched duties at the Shedravan. Can't have your manly custard thighs wasting away from lack of bikage;)

So, are we going to get building this nuclear/elastic/pedal powered boat/plane/cycle marriage carriage for Arch and Doc then? :smile:

<sings>

..and I can't afford a carriage. But you'd look sweet, upon the seat of a nuclear/elastic/pedal powered boat/plane/cycle made for two.....

<stops singing>

I think there's a light issue with scansion there, but it's a nice thought!:biggrin:

We had a fab day out in Scarborough yesterday, fish and chips, ice cream, kites, paddling in the sea, the whole works. Plus a classic comedy moment with the slightly-too-loose lid of a squeezy ketchup bottle....:rolleyes:

Oh, and is there a better combo in the world, than fish and chips and a pot of tea....?

There is a Plum Fayre in this town today. Amongst other things there is

Teddy Bear parachuting off the top of the Church Tower :biggrin:

Teddy Bear zip wires (inside the Church Tower)

A Plum Tossing contest - I kid you not :rolleyes:

Morris Men in the local Theatre, which means I can sit in comfort on a seat and watch it, instead of trying failing to see over people's heads.

A Farmer's Market - do you think I will be able to buy a handsome farmer?

There is other things too numerous to mention, including the purchase of edible goodies, and locally made wine.

The cadets from the ATC are acting as Marshalls in the Car Park.

Shall I ask them if they have a spare Spitfire or engine?

Only if you trust them not to report your interest to a superior. It might be miscontrued as terrorism or something.....

We don't want you carried off in chains...

I am sure I could find something interesting for the farmer to do, there is a field at the end of my garden. Perhaps we could do some combined harvesting.
