At the Plum Fayre yesterday, I carried out extensive Research. I found the cock pit of a fighter plane, preloaded on a low-loader/flat bed truck.
We could used that and add bits on the back. When I find the thingy wot connects the camera to the puter, I will upload the pics.
I would also add that this research made me very hungry so I had to partake of a speciality sausage and fried onion bap, and later on a proper ice cream.
All Teddy Bears with parachutes, landed safely. The biggest danger they faced was being blown onto one of the many bits of roof or towers that form part of the Abbey. The acceleration of the Bears on the Zip Wire, however, caused alarm, because of the steep angle of the wire.
I also arranged the purchase of an owl. He will be ready for re-homing next week. He is very tame and I have been told that he will not fly away.
I have been looking again at doing some voluntary work, and found what could be an interesting placement helping student learn English. I could do any morning or afternoon that I wish. The drawback being that the placement is in Sri Lanka. A smidgeon to far for an afternoon, I think.
