Do you want it back?

Send it to me, and I will see if I can take it apart and not work out to put it back together recycle its components. Has it got a spring in it about 3 cms long and 75mm in diameter with curly wurly bits at each end?

I haven't got another one!
Well, I have, but I'm using it.
Can I suggest you get a BB that has a metal one (if there are any), fit it, and don't ever touch it again?

I'd just like to add that I've never, ever managed to break a BB cup.
And I don't have a torque wrench.

I have knacked a crank by riding when it was loose though. Good job it was only Sora.

I'm surprised:
1) You're sober
TheDoctor:
I've just re-read what said there, and feel I should offer an apology. I didn't mean to express surprise at your soberness, merely that the pun struck me as the kind of thing one (or more accurately I) would come up with whilst pished.

No offence meant.

Oh heck, Landslide, no offence taken and no need for an apology!
It is a somewhat under-the-influence sort of pun...

I had a BB cup snap in the frame and then the outer part worked it's way out while I was out riding. I had to pedal home using one leg!

The first I knew of the problem was when I heard a strange 'pinging' noise which was, I now know, the bearings being flicked up the down tube by the crank!;)

Well it is time I was not here.;)

Good night ppl. I was playing pirates Pilates earlier, and it is surprisingly like hard work. ;)

More work, tomorrow, tidying, yes still a lot some to do, forms to fill in, including an income tax form , application form, dr's appointment ;) with MyDoctor not TheDoctor ;). How am I going to find time to go "out" to work?;)
