Ah, thread can still make a nasty garotte...

Prittstick is glue, it's just rubbish glue....

Your work sounds like fun..... One of the daft societies I joined as a fresher had a Blue Peter night one night, and we built a huge futuristic cityscape out of toilet roll tubes and egg boxes and the like....

We were making bugs and spiders and creepy crawlies, from scrap spectacle cases. No, before you ask, the spec cases were not sturdy enough to send specs abroad in.

Off to "work" shortly - hi ho hi ho ....
etc etc.

Happy to help in your research Arch, if you'd be so kind as to slide a mug thisaways...

Here you go..

Well, the teabag from this morning's cuppa made a perfectly good brew the second time, 3 hours later - I guess it helps that I don't take my tea terribly strong. I've left it to see if it stretches to three, but I doubt it. Good though, since I have a habit of making a cup, getting distracted and letting half of it go cold, so it's less of a waste.

I hear that in the current financial climate, we will all have to have frugal lifestyles. I am looking forward to this, as merely frugal will be luxury for me!

Ok, Speicher, yes please, PM me the clue...

Aerodynamic as they are falling through the air with rain as opposed to hydrodynamic when they moving through water with a few bubbles.

Yeeeees, but they weren't designed to be aero, that was my point.... (if you'll excuse the use of the rather contentious word 'design' for the evolutionary process...)

My newly opened local chip shop has something on the menu called 'Kermits', with the line "just ask....". I haven't been in yet. It couldn't be, could it? In a chip shop?

Reminds me of that old joke:-
"What's green and smells of pork?"

I'll tell you the answer when you're all much, much older...:blush:

No one here?

* puts feet up on sofa *
munches second  doughnut of the day

Well, it was a busy day! Did not have time to rearrange frogs, lots of counting money, and balancing receipts. And lots of small peeps making ooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh oooooooooowwwwwwwwwwooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh noises, because they had been making masks to pretend  they were ghosts or ghouls or children ;). Just what you need in the background when you are trying to sound efficient and business-like and helpful on the telephone (yes, I did say trying).

Tea please, thank you, so kind.
