OF to London on thursday to buy a bike! Second hand mind from a place in Camden that flogs reconditioned gear. Decided to go down the route of buying old road bikes, bit more theft proof I hope

I hear you! Best reason to ride a bike in London, you rarely need to use the underground!!;)

Thank you. It hasn't quite sunk in yet. I rescued her as a rottie pup 12 years ago, she was abandoned as a runt and so still had her tail. She was only about 8" long then. Rottie tails are great. She was such a big softy.

Bless you NT, I had a friend with a huge soppy undocked rottie, called 'Vinnie'.
It amazed me how much more balance he had and how handsome he looked too.
They are a much nicer dog with their tail, as are all breeds.

Morning all! Tea's up! The hens aren't - still a bit dark. They will be soon, though, so I must get their brekkie ready!

Aw, sorry to hear about your dog NT. Sympathetic hug.

Have spent today recycling, in the snow. Not bad actually, I was well wrapped up. Was a good day, until we got back and my colleague decided to use the electric truck to block a car that was trying to (illegally) follow us through the path at the reserve. So they rammed (well, nudged) us from behind, enough to push us along the icy path, so we decided discretion was the better part of valour and got out of the way, whereuopn they came along side, effed and blinded a lot, and then said, get this, "anyway, we should all be trying to get on better, yeah?" before driving off along the foot and bike path. Right,we should all get along, as long as we do what you say...

It's put me into a pit of despondency about the future of the human race.
