Is it chocolate cake as I am in the mood for chocolate

Are you ever not?;)

Any tea on the go?

Well, I've just photocopied some tooth wear diagrams for some teaching tomorrow - it's a 'get young people interested in University' session, so the kids are a bit of an unknown quantity. They are all bright, but not from university going backgrounds. Sometimes they are great, but the last lot, although bright and could do the tasks, were uncommunicative as a group which tends to cut the any question and answer sessions a bit short....

Never mind, it's 2 hours and a chunk of money.

I hope you will be spending this money on joyous frivolities. ;)

Well, I think it'll contribute to Christmas presents for my family.... Is that joyous enough?

Also, earlier today, I had a brainwave for something frivolous (and yet, not very expensive) that I would like, but I'm not quite sure enough yet. I may have to do some research...

So far, all I've asked for (because it was all I could think of within a reasonable price) when faced with the inevitable "What do you want...." questions from family is a photo album for all my pics of Oliver, and a decent tin opener. Talk about the high life.... I feel a bit like Bad King John in the poem by AA Milne.

A cuppa at arms length cos I'm just getting the kids colds I think.

Biscuits aren't up to much as someone left the top off the tin and they've got a bit damp, but if you're desperate...

Right, I'm off home, via the shops. In anticipation of earning some cash, I'm going to invest in some cheap bacon and have carbonara for dinner.

That cake looks better than the chocolate brownie I'm eating. It was left over from a meeting yesterday and is past its best:sad:. I'd better have some of that tea to wash it down.

You get brownies in your meetings?! ;)
*Heads off to stick the kettle on sulking*

Forgot I was going to ask something...not sure if right thread ?

If I start looking for used / not wanted cycle parts for sale, is it a case of looking around all the main forums and ebay ? I've noticed all sorts for sale on sites like gumtree etc. Are adverts basically scattered all over the place, depending on which forums the seller likes ?

I meant online rather than geographically. ie. which sites to look on ? - I wondered if there was any one site that everyone uses, or do people just have their own preferences ? I know some people can't leave ebay alone and others won't touch it !
