So, I braved the arctic winds, the rain, the chavs at ASDA and half way home in the pouring rain I realised that I forgot to pickup Hot Choc Powder !

Luckily I remembered milk, so I have since had 2 nice cupos of tea

Anyone for a brew?

Yes please! It's miserable up here, rainy and cold.

Last night, I was definitely going to go grocery shopping. Then, in my meeting with my supervisor, we got talking about my knitting (I try to keep talking about my work to a minimum in these meetings) I mentioned that I needed some large pieces of cardboard, to line my Ark, and he said "woud that box do?" and yes it would, it was nice and large, and easier to carry home from there than a box from work, since I tned to cycle to work, and walk in here. But I wasn't going to carry it round Sainsburys...

And on my way out, having decided to abandon the groceries AGAIN, someone told me a load of people were going to the pub, and did I want to come. So I took my big box to the pub instead.

And after a pint, I couldn't be bothered to cook, so I took it to the Chinese takeaway....

So I still have to go grocery shopping. And I've just been looking at Ukuleles in the music shop.

One of the local shops has


a knitted Christmas Tree in the window. It is made of squares of different shades of green wool that sort of overlap. I think it has been attached to a sort of conical shape plant support type of contraption. Decorations have been knitted in the shape of crackers, lanterns, stockings, small presents etc. I will try and get a photo.
