Sittingduck - Are you brave enough to pick up your mouse?

I had a mouse who lived in a brick wall next to the patio. I made him/her a swimming pool and a washing pool out of two treacle tart cases (small ones) and then could not remember if mice could swim. He? was easy to catch, and I put him in the middle of the pool for a supervised swimming lesson. He quickly swam to the side and got out, it was a very warm day. I did not want to give him a swimming pool and then find him drowned.

I also moved some little pebbles that were blocking his easy access to the hole in the wall, so that if he was chased by the cat, he did not have to waste time climbing over the pebbles. He was very, very small with teensy weensy "fingers".

Tea? please. I am having a quiet weekend, to build up my strength for my mother coming to stay for a week.

oooppss where's my manners

Good afternoon all. I suppose, yes, it was easy for me to catch the mouse, cos when he headed for his home, I knew which direction he was going in. If they are in a room, you do not know where they are headed.
Try to keep the sheets tucked in on your bed, you do not want one in bed with you.

I can't see any obvious mouseholes in the skirting boards in the living room so I suppose I'm none the wiser as to his home

I don't think a mouse would come near a snoring duck in the bedroom though

Afternoon all! I know I thought I was off yesterday, but I remembered I needed to check some train times for Monday.

I've just spent a morning helping a friend run her craft stall at the farmers' market, with various woollen goods from her own sheep. It got very cold, standing about!

To be honest, I'm probably also putting off doing all my wrapping!

Tea? anyone?

Oooh I can always manage a cuppa Arch

I decided to shake of last nights mulled wines by a ride out to tower bridge then across it and back to the west, via the city. It did the trick but am now falling asleep due to a restless night  I think I need caffeine!

Tea up!

Here, Landslide, a knitted cosy to hide your c*ff** under....

I have a nice pork and black pudding pie from the market to have for my dinner tonight. Last night, I had pasta, truffle and olive sauce and fresh parmesan, thanks to my 'mystery' hamper....
