Hi Djtheglove

Welcome... just to be clear, are we saying that we have to live the remainder of our years without either Tea or Beer? If so I would rather go without Tea than Beer!

Aw thanks Speicher, for the extremely warm reasurance, Your answer about the Tea/beer thing is a relevation to me, I really wish I had your ability to think outside the box!

My answer is now similar to yours ; choose Tea and then depend on whiskey, meths or white spirit for inebriation! Brilliant!

Infact I could even add the Whiskey to the Tea, even over breakfast this would work and probably make me a lot more entertaining over breakfast than the current staring at the back of the cornflakes packet that currently goes on!

Yes that's right SD , but don't worry we've thought of a way around the whole thing so choosing tea is clearly the answeer!

Wish me luck, off out shortly (well 5ft 4) to brother and s-i-l (SWWBO) for lunch.

Much calmising therapeutical tea will be consumed on my return. Then I will start decorating the tree, with Tasha's help to undecorate it, no doubt. Might be a question of who can work more quickly. Or perhaps her feline variety of tree decorating would be more decorous. While she is so engrossed I will try to take a photo, which she has resisted so far, like most two year olds, she cannot sit still long enough for the camera to get a focus. (Got some excellent shots of a very blurry black furry object half out of the frame).

Just got in from last night

Plenty of dancing

Lost my so called mates in the G-Mex

Woke up in Salford

Already had a Bloody Mary of the large variety

Feeling as rough as a rough thing that's not very smooth xx(

Off to the pub now

I'll regret it later.

Right.. it's been a quiet day at Chez Wafflycat - mainly due to yours truly having a migraine combined with MrWC & WCMnr starting to assemble the computer WCMnr is having as his crimble-pressie. For the spec, it's cheaper to buy the bits & self-assemble, than buy a completed system. I have just about managed to come round in time to prepare the evening meal. So I have a pork loin roasting. We'll have dauphinoise potaotes, sauteed leeks with nutmeg, carrots, broccoli and lashings of onion gravy. I am deciding if I can be bothered to make a big mince pie for pudding. In the meantime, WCMnr has made me a pot of tea.
