I'm just about to start work, honest.

I had a Burns supper last night. Well, I intended to, but both Sainsburys and Morrisons had run out of Haggis. So I improvised, and had Haggis, Neeps, Tatties and...black pudding. I hope any Scots present will forgive me....

Speicher, I'm glad your walk consisted of the same amount of up and down - otherwise you'd have a nasty step to fall down at the end....;)

:tongue::laugh: Well, yes, um that was me trying to emphasise that it was a lot of ups and lots of downs as well, I should have said 1000 feet of climb. This has galvanised me into getting to grips with a gps, so that I can more accurately note my climbing ability, and increase the ups.

The Tea stop nearly at the end was good, coffee and catbrain cake, or flapjack or spongey something, all made on the premises. I just had hot Choc.

Nah, some clever arse like me would have said "Didn't you come down again?";)

Tea? I've just had a cup of soup, so I'm brewing up to have with my choc biscuit (s)..

Actually, I wasn't going to mention that, but yes, I did think some smart person would say that.

I have also had soup for lunch, homemade lentil, potato, and oniony type soup, but no chocci bicky with my tea. Fruit crumble for pud, tonight!

Last Friday, attempts were made to make stripey animals using plain white plastic bottles. I was pondering in the early hours of this morning if we could also do Tropical Fish. The mouth of the bottle looks a bit like the open mouth of a fish when it is trying to catch food. There is lots of sticky plastic to make fins, and flippers and things. We could hand them in the window and make pretend underwater plants etc. Must find my coloured pencils and sketch something.

Tea Please.

Following on from the Police keeping us in our houses for 5 hours last Monday, I am delighted to announce that on Saturday night I heard two loud bangs which the Police informed us this afternoon were live rounds fired by a rival gang at local youths right outside my house. The second shot was apparently fired at our community wardens van.

Anyone fancy swapping for a one bed flat in Babylon?

I suddenly have an overwhelming desire to croft. Where does one apply?

I missed out the other great bit of news, one of our local pubs has won an appeal that now gives the Licencee the go ahead to turn the place into a lap dancing club.
