If it's a lack of motivation, maybe you need smaller projects than a sweater. Hot Water Bottle covers are good. I just finished this....
Ah hah....

I have a friend with a small baby. Said friend is a hardcore veggie and very proud of the fact that said sprog has five knitted vegetables. I think the child needs some protein to go with the veg. Would either of you be up to the job of knitting a leg of lamb?

Modest donation to charity of your choice if you can....

*pops head round the door*

Is there any tea on the go?

Thank you Doctor.

I am really being haunted by the ghost of my long lost and dearly missed 'Barking Spider Mk IV'.
Mk 1 was a solid 'garden gate' steel road frame & forks, with the wheels brakes & flat bars from a horrid Emmelle hybrid.
Times were hard and I had returned to cycling as cost effective transportation.

Over the four years I had this bike it was constantly being fettled and upgraded with cast offs/second hand parts and best of all it never let me down.
(Except when I had a rear deraillieur(?) irreparably explode upon arriving on Brighton seafront having ridden down from London. But even that showed beautiful timing.)

It was the bicycle equivalent of a Mad Max motorbike, went like slippy stuff off summink shiny, looked very nasty and I loved it like a boy loves his dog.

I think the Cotic is urging me to build another monster.

If you can wait while I finish a shetland cable glove, and a camel, I'll give it a go.

A leg of lamb is quite big (lots of stuffing). Would a chop/cutlet do?

A string of sausages would be too easy....

I need tea.

My laptop's hard drive has (probably) packed up. The boffins are trying to resuscitate it, but it's encrypted (thanks to all those careless civil servants who like to leave theirs on trains) and that's making it difficult.

I may never see some of my pictures again!

Oh, yes, and there's some work on there that I'll have to do all over again.
