Don't eat them all! I'm rather partial to a jaffa cake.

I felt deeply cheated when I found out that most of the orangy bit is actually apricot based. I don't like apricot. Still, you can't taste it...

In Lidl they do a variety of flavours of jaffa cake. Following extensive trials in the office we've decided the orange (apricot) are still the best though. I remember having lime flavoured ones many, many years ago and they were very yummy but I've never seen any since.

Tea would be nice, cheers. We have a conference on tomorrow, and several of us have to bring our kettles in to do the breaktime 'catering'...[/QUOTE]

Arch, what sort of conference is this where you have to bring your own kettles?

It's a slightly informal conference, held for postgrads at three Yorkshire Unis - the idea is that it's somewhere for people to come and present about their research in an environment with no staff around, and to meet fellow postgrads, and find out what people are doing. To keep costs down (IE free), we're self catering - so those of us organising or helping are going to bring kettles.

We've got wine and nibbles for after as well.

I had a very nice doughnut yesterday, I particularly asked the lady behind the counter in the cake shop if it was fresh cream, it was and it was very large.

I am guilty of having put the cat amongst the pigeons in a very subtle way, in another thread. I will remain here so that I do not get hit over the head with a cricket bat. :shy::rolleyes:

It is one of those threads that has been hijacked from its original thread.
Some of us, me included, have written on that thread about Cricket, some have tested the boundaries, and run away with themself and their own verbosity.
