Extremely dull, I'm afraid to say.
I'm having a particularly boring and unmotivating time at work just now.
Most of my musical endeavours are at a halt just now for one reason and another (picking up again next month though).
I need some excitement.
Or failing that, Tea.

I doing good just getting ready for the off I have 10 days up in Aberdeen which is going to be fun.

I wish bit alas no We are still waiting for them to arrive. No mickle and I are heading up there to do 8 days of road shows which is going to be fun to get out of the workshop. The best thing is we are staying right in the middle of Aberdeen so no boring nights for us.

Eight days in Aberdeen with Mickle. Might be too much excitement for me!
The thing is, usually at this time of year, I'm in the field (quite literally) myself - out in the sunshine, riding on tractors and chasing wildlife about in the spring weather. We've been to most parts of the UK, occasionally to France or Holland. This year, none of this has materialised, and I'm stuck indoors writing.

AF, I'm sorry I threw the tea out the other morning, it's just it was well stewed, cold and the tannin looked like breaking pack ice on the surface. Claggy tea as it's known in these parts.

Glorious it is indeed! Just the weather for a squeaky crank arm to threaten to fall off the BB! Still, I'm prepared for that - I've added a crank tool to my commuting tool kit until Ihave time to pull my finger out and sort it out properly!

Morning Landers.
I should sort that crank sooner rather than later. If you keep riding with it wobbling about, even for a couple of miles, you may round out the axle hole in the crank. Then it will never be secure again.
A lunchtime fettling session, perhaps?

Some Moultoneers are planning a ride out from Malton station on Saturday. I gather it could be a bit sparse, because many of the moultoneers in question are also BHPC types, who are off to a race even somewhere. Fancy joining us to make up the numbers?
(At a Moulton ride, non-Moultoneers normally get comments along the lines of "what's the point of those silly big wheels?" but as I suspect there'll only be three or four there, it'll be bearable).

Hmmm. I've never paid anywhere near £60 for a crankset, but I've never had one work loose. (I've had great difficulty getting one off... that's another story).

Good lord, a £60 chainset? No, it's the entire bike (the infamous Morrisons folder)!
I'm sure I've summat suitable to replace the chainset in my spares bin.
And the brake levers are great thanks! They're on my recently re-built fixed (the frame had been on geared duties until I got my new Bob Jackson.
