Hic!

Wine, anyone?

Worth sitting though a talk on mandibular biometrics, for a free glass of white...

Am quite merry now, though.

Ooh, that tea should be a perfect strength now. Thanks! Have a good ride. The weather here looks perfect at the moment.

Thanks very much. Just need a little mre sun to burn away the low laying clouds.

My event will not be a patch on your 250 miles in 4 days. Currently we are looking at 222 in 7 days (then again many of the riders have only been cycling for a few months.

Mine's flat though. You're bound to have some bumpy bits going through Wales which will slow you down. It'll be a beautiful ride though.

I've only been cycling for a year or so and it's amazing how quickly you can improve so your co-riders will be fine. I even did a century completely out of the blue a couple of weeks ago, adding about 40 miles to my previous furthest ride!

Quick cuppa anyone? Just popped in to catch up. Been on a spending spree - an A4 notepad, some summery trousers for Oli's baptism (Charity Shop), buttons for a knitted hoodie I'm doing for one of my sister's friends, a plant pot, and a bag of compost (for the tomato seedling I was given yesterday). And another 'Albie' book for Oli, I found in the cheap bookshop. In this one, a hippo steals his paddling pool....
