Just making one now. Grab a seat.

I just have (grabbed a seat). My computer is all set up at the office. So what am I doing?

Looking at Cyclechat...

We've found the mugs, located the kettle, got the internet, what more could we want. I've noted my new commute as just under 3.5 miles. Methinks it's time to work on getting my time over the distance down (currently something under 17 minutes, can't be sure, as that included walking the bike to the shop for milk). There are a couple of pesky traffic light junctions to hold me up too....

Heavy stuff, milk. That'll slow you down for sure.

Yeah, it was 2 whole pints. Plus the usual stuff I carry, pump, lock, rainlegs, multitool, lights....

The other thing that slowed me down was a slight but definite headwind.

Oh, and this pic of the new place....

You need to replace the ethereal misty autumn fields and flight of birds in the background, with the back end of a Tesco. There probably hasn't been an ethereal misty autumn field here since WW2...

oh, cute chicks, by the way. 'Cute' of course being tempered with the fact that they'd have your ear off, given a chance...

Actually they were fairly pacific. Grabby feet, but buzzards aren't really killing birds. They just eat worms and dead things. (You can see a bit of what I think is rabbit bone in the right hand corner of the pic - but you'd be the expert on that).

And stuff, of course, don't forget the stuff, just like the badgers eat.

Yeah, that could well be a rabbit bone, hard to tell without seeing it for real. I'm not sure I feel the need to climb a tree to do that though.

Of course, stuff. How could I forget the stuff?

Roy Dennis likes to start his talks about honey buzzards by saying "The two things I like most about honey buzzards are that they aren't buzzards, and they don't eat honey".

Come to think of it, are there any animals that don't eat stuff? I suppose the more specialist diet ones, like pandas or koalas, or ant eaters. (i'm taking 'stuff' to be a sort of non-specific omniverous top up)
