I can't say for definite, but I reckon that muffin'd be classed as "a risk I'm willing to take". ;)

Yeah, I though it had to be done. Decorated with Belgian chocolates. They had some rocky road ones, decorated with marshmallows....

I decided on some luxury on Sunday morning too - I got one of these:

(Breton Tart au Chocolat)

and a take-out latte, and a Sunday paper...

I was on a train once that derailed.

It was in Ireland on a Train Enthusiast's Tour of Ireland. All the passengers had to get off the train, and then help to get the coaches back on the track. It was a narrow guage railway that runs in the Bog to collect Peat etc.

You might not have needed to know that.

Yes, yes, Aperitif, it also collected Daniel and Diarmid. ;)

'Slab our of love. No problem. I cheekily brushed past some sugary baking earlier - 'doughnut touch' said the assistant. Her pasty friend behind the counter looked at me and said ' 'eclair about that?".
Tart - I thought...

...and then I finished writing and am struck with pangs of hunger ;)

I have two Patios. One is of a very sunny dispositon from 11am until this time of day. The other one is a more shady character, with a cool disposition. For late evening consumation of beverages, my neighbour very kindly mows a corner of the field* at the back of our gardens and has put a spare picnic table out there for everyone at this end of the street to enjoy. From there one can admire the sun setting over the Malverns.:biggrin:

* particular care must be taken when the Combine Harvester comes round, as it is the size of about six double decker buses. However, I concede do not often see a double decker bus in these far reaches of the English counties.

Thats the trouble with buses. You don't see one for ages and then six turn up at once ;)

I was going to ask what you were recycling earlier ;) but now realise it was old joke books. They do say, do they not, that the old ones are the best. BTW have you read my Travel Book thread ;) I am sure you would have some to add to my list.

The dirt is sort of crushed choc cookies, with whipped cream, and the worms are "gummy" worms (this an American recipe). You might be able to find jelly (baby?) worms, or similar. Or you might try following the link and looking at page 9, Renard.

Special edit for people on this thread very early tomorrow, see Snakehips post above, do not assume that I have lost the plot completely.
