I must admit to not asking about your insurance, in case you threw something at me. ;) Will you be able to get exactly the same as you had before?

Yes! It's like-for-like replacement, apparently.
What makes you think I could throw something over a hundred miles to hit you? ;)

If redjedi wants to brand them, I'll pump the bellows.
We just need someone to sell tickets and refreshments.
Of course, we could have had public birchings if Waffles was still here...

Oh dear Longers, do you need a bandage? and a cup of Tea? and a biskit?

A+E sorted me out with the first one and I've just taken care of the others.

Feeling better now

Ta for the sympathy.

I've just taken the bandage off.

*goes to find camera* ;)

My bikes just have to look good ;)
Which is probably more than Longer's finger is managing after his day!

Evening all!

The lurg has descended upon me well and truly. Hopefully nowt that a good night's sleep won't fix.
Good news on the insurance front Doc! Not an entirely unmitigated disaster, thankfully.

Have I told you about when I had my arm in a sling?

Well, anyway, I got a splinter in my thumb, under the nail, and did not realise until my arm went sort of purpley/bluey/tingley/swollen etc. Went to the Doctor, who immediately sent me to A & E, fortunately just across the road. Long story short, surgery ensued, and they put my arm in a sling. Trouble was, of course, that when peeps asked what had I done to my arm, and I said it was a splinter, they all fell about laughing.
