Not bagged any yet, but we've got 5 to look at on Saturday!

Thankfully, we've also got a week's holiday to recover! A few days on the yacht (weather permitting) out of Cowes, followed by some camping.

The yacht? You have a yacht?

Is house hunting fun? I've only ever done it from a renting POV, and always found it stressful - I suppose I was never looking at a place with any idea of permanence and making it my own....

Right, kettle time...

Anyone noticed we've just passed a very large milestone? 200,000 views! Quite staggering. I'll have a Tea? to celebrate.

Morning all!

The yacht: 'tis a Contessa 32, and was first daught by Mrs Landslide's grandfather. He has now regrettably shuffled off the mortal coil, so the yacht is upkept by his five offspring.

House hunting? I seem to be taking a similar view to renting (at least the renting I've done since I left uni). I guess if and when we find somewhere we like, then we'll have to sit down with the mother of all checklists, and work out just what could possibly go wrong that we'd normally have a landlord to take care of it. Then the really scary bit will be signing a bit of paper with a £ and lots of 0s.
