Morning! I must have got out of the right side of bed or something today because I flew into work this morning, smashing my personal best. I nearly averaged 15mph. And it wasn't even tea fuelled! I think I'll need a cuppa soon.

A most exciting Tuesday! I didn't have to get up at crack of sparrow fart (n/a if you're Waffly!) to get the train to London!

Cuppa for wafflycat on its way. Our attempts to obtain toasted teacakes have been thwarted though as there seems to be some delay in opening the cafe.

This month is a mix of looking after Miss tdr1nka, work and dealing with the DWP as I start to sign off the benefits.
Not much of a Summer Holiday although my good lady & I are taking a well earned couple of days seaside break to Margate on Thurs.
Can't wait to get out of London for a few days.

Afternoon. We are boiling here in Chateau Wafflycat due to having to keep the windows closed (wasps plus swarming bees... don't ask..). So I have made a supply of lemon & lime curd, using butter, eggs from The Laydeez, sugar, fresh lemons & limes. It looks *wonderful* and will be an enjoyable treat I think. Mind you, standing in a hot kitchen making it does not give me my most attractive look.
