welcome back

I have just made a batch of lemon curd. OOOOOH but it is yummy. The fresh homemade stuff is far, far nicer than the bought stuff. And a way of using up eggs as provided by The Laydeez!
If you've got time on your hands, I've got an application form I need help with...Arch said:Ooh, I like lemon curd, my Mum makes it sometimes.
Any tea on the go? I'm in a sort of slightly relieved haze. I caught my supervisor in his office and had The Talk with him that I needed, and a big weight is lifted from my mind, even though there are still decisions to be made.
I have probably just turned my back on the PhD.
So a fortifying cuppa would go down well.

That must be quite a relief. I can offer you a pot of freshly brewed c*ffee and some Haribo. Will that do?

Arch said:It is a relief to be talking to people about it, I've been going over and over stuff in my head for weeks, months maybe. Time to move on. My supervisor didn't look all that surprised - he has a tendency to either be able to anticipate my angst, or at least not look surprised. He's going to look into whether anything can be salvaged from it - I don't know if he means an MPhil, or just maybe some papers, or something. I just want shot of it.

HelenD123 said:B) You'll definitely be needing a cuppa.

HelenD123 said:If you have stuff written and could easily turn it into an MPhil without too much angst I would. But I guess if you're not going to continue with the Archaeology it's maybe not important.
