Nope, it's the real deal, huge Edwardian four bed, three bathroom town house with granny annex in the basement.
It is an awesome house but they are paying for the location as much as the property.

Still, very scary amounts of as yet unearned monies to be shelling out.

Call that work?

Glad you had a good ride today, I was with you in spirit.

Still haven't ridden the Sentinel more than 10 miles in one stretch yet.
Plus I appear to have strained the muscle in my left ankle up behind the calf, might be from riding the tandem in normal shoes, that or my cleats need re adjusting for the clipless.

Just got back from walking south from Craster on the Northumberland coast down to Boulmer and back. Crossed over a stream near Howick Hall which was marked as National Cycle Route 1 but included a boardwalk section with four steps up onto it... strange ideas Northumberland County have about accessibility!

Time for a quick brew then off to make bolognaise for tea.... see y'all tomorrow.

I have been out to a Village Fete. Won a lovely bottle of sparkly white wine  on the Tombola, (and a tin of butter beans), bought a Victoria sponge cake, some beetroot, cherry tomatoes, rhubarb, and blackcurrants. And a raffle ticket or ten. There was an exhibition in the Church of people's photographs, embroidery, paintings, drawings, all excellent.

Then I had tea and cake in someone's enormouse garden. Talked to someone I know about holidays he has taken in the Scilly Isles.

I know how to live the high life. Now going to watch the Time Trial of the Veulta.

You heard me practicing my Cozy Powell routine then?

We cycled past a fete-in-the-process-of-being-set-up earlier. I nearly stopped and looked at the second-hand books. And the Cake stall.
