Yup. That's why the mute button is used when he is doing his bit. The only problem is it turns out I can partially lip read, which is a bit of a bummer, as it means I still 'see' his appalling jokes. It is better than actually hearing them I suppose.

I usually find they are the best sort...

The singer was the best. ;) Brazilian - male - I hasten to add. A wonderful voice, and such a gorgeous accent. Two dancers, doing the Tango Milonga, Argentino and many others, and four musicians.

With lashings of tea

The good thing about having a small house is it only takes 2 hours to clean it from top to bottom.

I'm in the process of moving in with my girlfriend (I should be packing now, but I'm drinking co**ee and eating cake, and surfing here intermittently) and my little house only takes 30 mins to clean!

Her place, though, is somewhat bigger AND she has two cats and an untidy teenage daughter, and takes considerably longer to clean.

I was wondering why you would like to take up yoga and or Tai Chi. Moving house? very stressful. Have some more coffee non-tea beverage, and what sort of cake is it, is there some for me?

I noticed also, that your above post was so important you posted it twice. :birthday: Or was that to account for the different time zones?

Yoga and Tai Chi (plus meditation) are activities I have been interested in for a long time without having been too, er, active!

The cake was a thin sponge-like base and top with a creamy filling. Co**ee from Vietnam. Nah, not stressful to move, just hassle. But I've got all week, and the use of a car, so it's no problem. And she only lives about three miles from me.

You're quick, Speich! My first post didn't have longer's quote quoted correctly, and being the pedant OCD person I am, I wanted it to be right!

So no cake left then?:birthday:

It was a double pack (each was about the size of a thin paperback); it lasted less than five minutes!

It now looks like I have a hectic day in front of me. Alternating between enjoying the sunshine in the garden, and watching the World Championship Road race in the lounge. Decisions, decisons.

Housework? what housework? I do the vacuuming ooh at least once a month.

I could clean mine in 2 hours, but the tidying always seems to need much longer:sad:. The tidy gene seems to have bypassed me.

Another one here drinking c*ffee:blush:. It's a weekend tradition. Should help with the housework though.

Hens are not the brightest creatures on the planet. Indeed I'd go so far as to say they are incredibly dim. But of my four hens I have two which are the hen equivalent of Mensa membership. Since Anode & Cathode discovered the delights of catfood the other day, they have not forgotten it. Now, as soon as the door to the hen run is opened, to let The Laydeez out for a spot of foraging in the garden, Anode & Cathode make a beeline for the house. Straight into the kitchen and beaks into the catfood dishes...

Perhaps I should celebrate with coffee?

It's warm enough for shorts here today. So I just thought, I wonder if those shorts which were too small, now fit me? :birthday: Yes, they fit, I can do them up, and they are not ever so tight, snug yes, but not tight!

Perhaps I need to start back at the gym, just gently. Treadmill, and recumbent (sort of) cycle? and more walking, and swimming?
