sit, take abreak

*hands steaming builders tea*

they can reference something as a personal communication 'pers comm' if you have had feedback from someone or a personal discussion. it just proves to readers that it has not been published or peer reviewed, it is valid reference. likewise you could use a letter if you had written to soemone about a topical asking thier opinion. its not been published but an opinion has been expresssed.

Just had this from course tutor. I think I need to go back to the drawing board on this one. Its going to be difficult to do in 750 words. Oh well, time for tea then start doing a re-write.

Hi Debz

Please don't worry you will be fine, I can clarify that the brief asks you to "contrast the dynamics of your group with other models so that you can identify skills that are important for you to develop as a group member". So for example the classical work on groups in Tuckman and Jensen (1997), your group underwent a fair degree of "storming" but you all came out of it OK. What did you learn from this and how can you apply this in future to groupwork, how will you be able to contribute to effective groupwork in the future?

Small children and tractors, little James came around with his parents yesterday, he is completely obsessed with them because of Murton. Its good though, he will be old enough to go to Pickering next year.

And I think it's a boy thing, no matter how much you intend not to stereotype them.

When we took Oli to Marwell zoo, on the way home we asked him what his favorite animal was. The reply: "Tractor!". They have a tractor that tows a set of wagons round for visitors to ride in.

Apparently, there are two main brands of tractor. Red ones, and Green ones.

Taking the biscuit
When Miss tdr1nka was a toddler there was a building project going on opposite our house. The early part of the build was the driving of pilings into the ground to prepare the dig down to create an underground car park.

The site was crawling with mega plant, mobile boring drills, JCBs', dumper trucks, etc.
which held Miss tdr1nka spellbound.
Talking to the Foreman one morning he said that all toddlers, boys & girls are fascinated by plant, he reconed they recognise the exaggerated movement of the tasks the machines perform.

Yeah, that makes sense. Also, they tend to be brightly coloured, and chunky looking, so easy to make sense of.

Just got this from my sister:

Someone's been on a steam train ride....

Well, I had a gourmet dinner - fishcake, smash and baked beans.

Tdr1nka would you pour me a very large, strong drink or two please?

Some of your builders' tea with two sugars, thank you.

My two cats are getting very plump, so I have decided to not give them any biscuits at all between meals. They are not happy bunnies!
