I do that all the time, especially at work.
I keep finding cold mugs of tea on my desk. I drink them anyway.
I've yet to find any abandoned chocolate cake, sadly.
Perhaps I should start dogging Meep's footsteps, so to speak.
Just before leaing for work the electricity run out and so I went and put £20 credit on the key.
When I inserted the key in my meter, nothing happened. Having noted the error number I rang the Electricity company and now I have to wait until midday to then collect a new key.
Luckily the gas is still on so I can at least make tea.
Dunno how long the battery on this laptop will last?!
Afternoons. Having a lunch & cuppa break from 'playing' with the new sewing machine. Actually I'm supposed to be making curtains, and the number of different "OOOH! It does *that* stitch too!" stitiches that will be hidden on the underside of said curtain is large It's much, much quieter than the old machine. And vibrates less ... which is not necessarily a good thing
No power until later.
New key doesn't work either.
Can't call out a repair man until after I get home with Miss tdr1nka from school, in case he/she arrives while I'm on the school run.
Possibly no power till after 19:00 at this rate.
Can cook but no heating, lighting etc.
Why on earth can this sort of thing not happen in the summer.
Ah, you have the advantage of me there. I can't remember the three-day week.
Which is odd, as I do remember 'Bohemian Rhapsody' coming out.
Maybe I have selective amnesia...
