We've just got back from Orpheus in the Underworld.

Time for lunch. It's been a bit chilly today sitting at the stall dismantelling chain and hole punching tyres for belts.

I decided to do a bit of pootling around in the garden. It is and warm. I now have a tidy patio, ready for the warmer weather.

I have been listening to radio 'bumpkin' thru the laptop, the presenters mustn't be locals as I can understand their accents OK

It's been a long day.

Got to St Nicks at 9am to find a portion of the fence cut and peeled back.
No sign though of any theft or vandalism of the art works inside.
CCTV revealed a group of lads breaking in last night to liberate a motorbike we'd found dumped on the reserve and were storing in the compound.

Thankfully, they were only interested in the motorbike, so all the art was intact.

In the course of the day I managed to make up one bag, talk to a lot of people, and sell 3 keyrings, a bracelet, two belts and a bag! Admittedly the belts and bag were to the artist in residence, but hey, a sale's a sale!

We're eating out tonight.

A great day at St Nick's.

I did a bit of CSI, posted a tyre to a CC member, punched some holes in tyres for belts, cut some tyres, repaired some fencing and spoke to the police.
It warmed up quite a bit in the afternoon and I chatted to a few people.

It was good fun.

It's so much easier to work and chat to the passers-by, when there's someone else to help out with the chat when you're just at a tricky bit with the staples....
