Tiddles had a heavy and awkward load yesterday.

I had a rucksack with a big load of cut tyres, tools and lock in the saddle bag, weekend clothes and laptop in the front bag and a polishing tumbler on top of the front bag.
That was a lot of weight bouncing about on the Brompton block and oak socket!
Didn't break.:thumbsup:

A short update on my Mother. She is able to get out of bed un-aided, and walk un-aided. :thumbsup: I will be going to visit her on Sunday. I seem to have spent most of the week on the phone.

Hooray! Good for her. I expect she'll be a bit sore, but it's good to keep mobile.:thumbsup:

Yes, it was very worrying when they said she needed an x ray on her spine in case she had a slipped disc. :eek: Being immobile for too long at the age of 90 is not a good thing at all.
