Not a great ride for me. Leg's bruised, bleeding and got some impressive lumps and bumps. Struggled a lot on some of the more technical sections. And then my chain snapped.

Now drinking a consoling :cuppa: and eating toast and marmite whilst waiting for the water to heat up for a bath.

Did 40 miles, which was good.
Legs turned to jelly after 30 miles. Less good...

Silly me! I forgot to prepare the outdoor pool this year. (The one just outside the Tea? Room). So this afternnon, I will be telling the Penquins that they have to vacate the pool. Does anyone want to help me clean the pool?

 I thought not. I can probably manage by myself.

I never thought i would say it but it is to hot for stupidly hilly cycle rides.

Set off at 10am and the sun has been blazing all day, I decided to do a really really hilly route managed 61 miles but the sun got the better of me I started feeling like I had been out in It way to long so I came home.

We did 23 miles, which included a car boot sale, and a military vehicle rally, and a pub (just for a shandy).

Oh, and NT did the whole thing towing his trailer. And he bought a winch.

Too hot for anything but salad, Pots? I've got eggs to use up, so I'm going to make us a full English breakfast for dinner.... :hungry:
