I went down to the metal workshop in the basement to get a bit of 50x50x3mm box section steel about 1.5m long. It will be the drawbar for a simple skeletal 'T' shaped trailer.
I forgot the measurements so came back up to the wood workshop to measure the axle and the trailer hitch hole spacings.
Then back down again to mark and centre punch the steel. I managed to pilot drill the holes to 6mm and then my calf muscle started to complain so I called it a day.
Of course, that meant working my way back up to the first floor and, trying to be 'clever' I didn't take the crutches as I was also seeing if I could do stairs without them, wasn't actually thinking about doing the metal work as well in the same test of ability.
I can do down stairs, just.
Getting back up was not good. Hurts now.
That's it. I
can't won't do any more today, that was enough of a stress warning. Rest now.
