In the amazon player you can download the tracks you want to listen to if you know you will be going somewhere with no internet, but it is very rare I have no internet connection.

Then when I have mastered that stage, later on I could purchase an mp3 player. I have plenty of music I can play on my cd player for now.

You can put it where you like
once it's on your computer hard drive you can make copies of it ie-memory stick, cd, etc.You only need the mp3 if you want to actually listen to it on the move
