I think I had better warn everyone that I make my own presents to give to other people. I use that sort of fluffy material, so you know that my presents will be felt.

I must have told this one before....

When we lived in Belfast, there were a couple of years when the city centre was a bit too exciting for my Mum to venture into. One Christmas, a friend on the mainland asked what Mum would like, and she said that she'd love a selection of material for making little soft toys with, since there was no haberdashers in our area.

So this friend went into her local department store, and asked an assistant "Excuse me, can you tell me where I can get felt?"

No, thank you, Rocky, I will be having a co**ee with my burgher in a bun. I do not think :cuppa: goes with burghers.

The bills have not been large, fortunately. £50 from British Gas, nil pounds from British Telecom, and um er less than £50 for the second telephone man. The Roof man at a guess will be the same again. I venture to suggest that this will not make any difference to the local economy. ^_^

Cheese and onion is very yummy, especially with lots of onion. I have never been keen on piccalilli, I think the bright lellow colour puts me off. To add to today's excitement, I am off to watch "Murdoch Mysteries", just about the only daytime tv that I sometimes watch, apart from the news sometimes.
