I've got the lurgy.

Felt really bad in the night, resolved to call in sick, but felt a bit better when it was time to get up, so I walked in, and promptly decided I wasn't good after all.

I've been dozing in bed all morning, trying to have a little lunch now of a sandwich and :cuppa:, but I'm not very hungry. :wacko:

Then I'll take another painkiller and try to sleep a bit more.

Sorry you are ill, I guess it had to happen.:sad:
Wish I was there to take care of you, and make you some cake pops.

I wouldn't be much fun. Just hope I'm better by the weekend, certainly don't think I'll be fit to work tomorrow.:B)

I have a couple of cake pops left, but even they aren't very tempting. I did manage one sandwich, and an After Eight Mint.

Don't women make a fuss when they're ill? :rolleyes:
Morning Arch :tongue:

My lurgy (which I don't think's been mentioned at all) is thankfully going now, just a few remaining sniffles, lots of :cuppa: and clean living has helped the recovery I reckon :whistle:

Arch should have been like that over the weekend. Instead, she kept :smooch:me, which was nice but not good for her health.:sad:

I am feeling lots better this afternoon after watching The 39 Steps on TV and trying and failing to get an album transferred onto my phone from a CD using MediaGo!

Having now experienced both (as well as numerous viewings on DVD), I now have a great deal of appreciation for the theatrical interval. (Where's the smiley for bouncing around in the seat, needing a wee?)
A bit like this? ---->:hyper:

I know the feeling, theatres do have an advantage but sometimes they just also need more toilets for the audience to take advantage of.
