If it's similar to what I've had it lasts about 4-5 days before you start to feel better, I know what you mean about the amount of snot though xx(

Saying that I've not had any shivers, just headache, cough, cold etc, maybe yours is a bit worse?
Plenty of tea and rest

Oh dear, I hoped you were getting over it....:hugs:

It does come and go a bit. I'm feeling a bit better right now, but I suspect I'll come over hot and headachey again this evening. I've told work I won't be in tomorrow anyway.

Time for another :cuppa: I'm alternating between normal tea and earl grey with ginger and honey.

I think it is an on off thing as I am going from being fine for a while to :cold::heat::wacko::B).
Right now my skin hurts to the touch and my joints ache.
Both my folks have been to the GP and have antibiotics. I don't know if it is bacterial or viral, no point in seeing the GP if it is viral.

I dunno, by the time you get antibiotics in a case like this, you're probably coming through it anyway. Hopefully the periods of ok start to outweigh the :B)

Headachey now, I took a couple of painkillers at 6.

On a lighter note, I had my blood pressure checked today: 120/72. ^_^ The nurse said it was "excellent" and "better than hers".

When I looked at a blood pressure chart on-line, I am at the top end of "normal" (with regard to blood pressure). So there is room for improvement, but still good, I think.
Good use of parentheses.
