Indeed. I'll get some new trousers... next week. Tomorrow, if it's not too awful out, I'm going to take the trike for a spin....:headshake:

Did something I've not done for a while this morning, a lap of the city walls on the bike (well, the roads beside them, not the walls themselves). Door to door, the most direct route is 3 miles, but with wandering into town and Sainsburys I made it nearly 5 this morning, upped the general utility mileage for the week to just over 30....

Bikepete and I went to the allotment today armed with the tools to shift a fence. We got there to find it already done.

We also found out after chatting to a chap next door to our plot that we also had an extra shed. On inspecting the shed we discovered it full of useful stuff, like tools and netting.

I love days like these

I spent this afternoon seed sowing and napping. It has been a good day.

Stick with red - I like it, tis a good colour.

Arch - that drives me mad- why oh why do women have to paya premium for the same thing - brings to mind the whole women = appearance aspect. There is a time and place for it in both men and women but it should not be the be all and end all---rant rant rant!!

Blue- good luck with the racing and riding- sounds like you've got the bug! The club will push you further and give you some great opps - must rejoin my one when things have settled down a bit!

I used to feel similar resentment when looking for a magazine to buy, especially when in the Supermarkets. Then, I just put it to supply and demand and went my merry way, content with The Economist, The FT, and the occassional Nutz (wedged within an edition of Cosmopolitan.)

So tea hey, I'll stick to the Assam

Mornings!

I'm a romantic soul... I bought MrWC a teapot for a Valentine's Day gift

Mind you, it is one he likes as it's not your average-run-of-the-mill teapot. I have had to explain the instructions to him. Sigh...

Oh yes. Mr WC's teapot is this one:-

He was having difficulty with the destructions first thing. The poor male brain was not in full working mode first thing this morning.

I'm trying not to sulk.
I didn't even get a card today.

More tea?

Well, neither did I...

I could do with another cuppa, already had one since getting back from a 40 mile ride in weather best described as 'mixed media'. Thanks to mud and wet on the road, and a lack of mudguards (must sort the rear, at the very least), my coat looked like it had been made from hi-vis cheetah skin.

But, by heck, that trike's fun!:biggrin:

And, East Yorkshire posse members will be interested to hear I've found the vehicle that can pass through that barrier on the Stamford Bridge viaduct without stopping (and on the way back, I didn't even knock the mirror!)

Also, I may be in the process of talking myself into doing something very, very stupid. I read Arallsop's book from cover to cover last night, and it's given me ideas....

I'll put the kettle on again.
