Afternoon all!

I've got some modern art in my kitchen. Imagine 5 washing up liquid bottles, (nozzles off), with five other washing up liquid bottles, (nozzles off), balancing upside down on the bottom five washing up liquid bottles (nozzles off). I realised that draining each one into the master bottle would take days, so I'm combining them, and then will combine again and again, into the one....

This recycling is complicated stuff!

Tea?

I've probably got a short quill stem in the box of bits if you are struggling to find anything suitable.

OooH thanks porkypete. I'm struggling to get the current stem out of an ancient frame. I haven't got the correct size Allen key amongst my pretty large collection  Hopefully I'll borrow one this evening and then, hopefully, the stem won't be seized into the ancient frame. If that all goes OK I'll set it all up and put Mrs 26x25 on and see if she fits. If she doesn't I'll PM you for a stem if the offer is still open. Many Ta's

(And I've left some Choclate Hobnobs for you over there ----> where Speicher can't reach)

At the risk of teaching my grandmother to suck eggs, you know about raising the bolt a bit, protecting it with a block of wood and then giving it a sharp rap with a hammer, if the quill wedge is stuck?

I think I can just..... reach... those..... biscui.....

Ah yes that was a risk. But I'll let you off and let you have a choccy hobnob for being so thoughtful. Don't let Speicher know tho'

Arch, are there any biskits left?

No shouting!! Arch is enjoying her choccy hobnob cuppa.

I got the stem loose courtesy of my neighbour who is well set up with everything tools - including all the Allen keys you could dream of. Mrs 26x25 will have to wait till tomorrow now for the (hopefully) final set up. I reckon if she fits she'll be off like a greyhound after a hare
