Pimpims - sounds like penguin.

Did you know that Peppa Pig's Dentist is an elephant?

Prize to Speicher: Pimpims is penguins. I didn't know about the dentist, I did know the doctor is a bear, because we had to watch the episode with him in several times, because he drives a nee-naw.

Right, my turn for the shower I think.... I'll have to relinquish the laptop for Oli to watch Charlie and Lola...

Morning all. I really MUST learn to take a painkiller if I wake up in the middle of the night with a developing migraine. I'm hoping the one just taken will at least take the edge of said migraine to keep me functioning today.

Ow!

I had a terrible night sleep, My son woke us all up saying he had, had a bad dream. Poor boy, I let him have my bed but then could'nt get back to sleep after!!

Can I have coffee in the Tea thread?

Yes, Co**ee is called a non-tea beverage* and is allowed. Biscuit? - don't let your son see you eating it just before lunch.

* That's what is was called, but under the new decor, rations might be re-named.

Coat getting I am.

I'm just inhaling my second cup of tea after the 5 hour trip back from Winchester. Scheduled change at Reading, unscheduled change at Birmingham New St after the train broke down - although as the train always waits for 15 mins there anyway, the delay was minimal.

Rang Mum when I got in to say I was home, managed to get off the phone just under an hour later...

Most excellent!
I did toy with the idea of waving at your train as it went through, and see if that worked better than last time we tried it.

Sorry - crossposted. That was aimed at Trinka.

I did mean Tdr1nka, yes.
That would be a bit of a diversion, and would require quite a lot of new track.

I overheard someone on the train last night (as did most of the rest of the carraige, I assume) talking about someone he knew who helped in the restoration of Tornado. Amazing how it needs restoration, given that it's brand new...

More track? Ask Oli, he has loads. And the sweet thing is, he'll put a single loco and truck on just two pieces joined together, and just push it back and forth, sometimes he practices buffering up gently. He lies on the floor, and watches the wheels turn at ground level so to speak...

I'm afraid I might get quite boring on the subject of Oli in the next few days. He's talking so much and is so grown up - he's a credit to Mum and Dad.

And I'll never entertain ideas of faddy eating children again. This week he had lasagne, stirfried chicken, veg and noodles (with soy and sesame oil), kedgeree and salmon and spinach on pasta to name but a few dinners. And at the zoo, he ate the sausage and rejected his chips and beans and wanted some of Mum's peas instead...

How on earth am I going to manage to love the new one as much as Oli? Somehow, I suspect I'll manage.

Evening.

*sips tea*

I am concerned about Nolo. She disappeared into the hen house during the afternoon, several hours before the other Laydeez retired for the evening. She was looking miserable although nothing obviously wrong, but this disappearing into the hen house early is *worrying* I hope she's ok tomorrow...

Mmmm, I wonder how Wafflies hen is?

Had a better night sleep last night, despite waking up having bad dreams about work! Then couldnt get back to sleep due to the 2 yr old snoring, he is in our room due to us decorating his room.

I went and had a sarnie, lay on the sofa and read my Flashman novel, then got another hours sleep before the alarm went off and I came to work.

Lots of 'Tea' now , loverly.:hyper:
