Hasn't reached York-ish yet.

Yet....

And it's shopping night tonight, so I will be hauling home a 15 kg bag of dog food (and some food for me, maybe) on a trailer all the way from York this evening...

I've been to the zoo today! We saw tigers and pimpims (guess), and giraffes and a leopard, and when asked his favourite, Oli said "Tractor!" (It pulls a road train round the zoo)

Then, this afternoon, he helped me carry a mop home from the shop in town.

 Tdr1nka, glad you had a lovely evening.

Archie_tect, I saw the dentist on the cover of the book.

Yes, small world. I may have mentionned this before, but I was asking someone once if he knew the real name of "Mr Pastry". It was at a dinner somewhere, and I thought he would be the right age to remember that sort of detail.

He seemed unusually upset that I should be asking him that question. So I had to back pedal diplomaticaly, as like wot I do. Anyway that did not placate him at all. Turned out he used to work for Mr Pastry's agent, and he was trying to work out how I knew that.

Moff to bed now.

Leaves clean mug and plate of biskits for late comers.

Well, that was delightful. 3 courses and a small lake of Tea for about 13 of your Earth pounds, and a gentle ride past Doggersea Bats Home and its associated power station. No inflatable pigs though...
Trinka was indeed in his tights, whereas I was wearing shorts and my finest Aldi long-sleeve jersey. We must have looked a sight.
And it certainly made a change not to have any bikes stolen.
