Must say I ate my fair share too. Stunning dinner in Cahors with a red wine from the local Melbrec grape. But many other excellent meals.

HelenD123, I've just been catching up with your trip write up, and can solve your 'Chiots Toilettage Yorkshire' sign conundrum. Chiots are puppies, and Toilettage is grooming - so it's a dog breeder and poodle parlour - possibly specialising in Yorkshire Terriers?

Thanks! Strangly there were a lot of dog breeders along that stretch of road.

My word, it's hot and my sister says it's the same at home. I've just had a shock when I converted the 103F my bike computer registered and found it's nearly 40C. That's what I was riding in for a lot of yesterday. I dragged myself out of bed a lot earlier today and got some miles in before the temperature started to climb. It's still amazing how refreshing a cup of tea is in these temperatures.

I got some Turkish Apple Tea the other day from Whittard's, and quite frankly, It was like tooth decay in a cup!

I think I'll have to make it weeaker next time.
