I prefer the bear in the Hotel adverts, for Holiday Inn, IIRC. He wears pyjamas and a dressing gown.

Afternoons!!!
I has been doing another of Hilldoggers gigs, and have therefore spent the entire day arseing about on pennys and the Wobblebike working very hard in the blazing sun.
I've also got absolutely filthy. I need a bath. And some iced Tea!!

I've got a cuppa.

Had a nice curry, dead easy, some onion and cauliflower fried, a dollop of tikka paste, some tinned tomatoes and a small tin of mixed beans. With slightly scented rice (chucked some cardomom and cinnamon in the water). And the bottom of a bag of poppadom snacks I got last week reduced. It was mainly crumbs, but still crunchy.

I've got to lose 200mb off my france photos to get them on CDs for my friends.... Already trimmed out the blurry ones and near duplicates.

I seem to have gone off curry. I still like the taste but it all seems way to spicy all of a sudden, or I seem to have be come overly sensitive to the heat from the spices.

You could reduce the size of some of the photos a little, that saves quite a few mb. Also trimming the boring edges off some might help too.

I'm half way through compressing them - only 150mb to lose now... But I'd had enough for the evening, it's a bit repetitive.

Could you save them as slightly smaller jpegs? Either a lower resolution, or a higher compression?
Failing that, you could always burn them onto 2 CDs, I suppose...

I've compressed them. It was a lot quicker when i found out how to do each days' worth in one go, rather than each photo individually....

Just need to burn the discs now...

Talked to my sister yesterday, and she told me something Oli said. Apparently, when the weather forecast comes on telly, he understands the concept of the map, and knows that he lives down there, and Auntie Sue lives all the way up there. They were in the park, and he was on the swings, and he asked his mum to 'push me as high as Auntie Sue lives!"

Is that an amazing leap of logic for a nearly 3 year old? Seems very advanced to me.
