I'm trying to follow the tour. I just made the mistake of going into "Chat" thinking "I wonder what that's all about?", and finding it was all about talking about the tour. D'oh.

Cuppa?

yes please to the cuppa!

They grow tea in Cornwall you know. Not much, and only on one estate.

Passes Tea to Arch.

I've had some English Wine made from grapes grown down south somewhere, which was actually quite nice.

Not had actual English Tea though. We do try and do things that really shouldn't work in this country don't we. It's one of the things I like about it.

"This plant need lots of sunlight and warm weather to grow"

"Let's try growing it in Cornwall!"

There's a fair number of English (and Welsh) vineyards. I'm unaware of any Scottish or Irish ones.
UK wine tends towards the Germanic style, which seems fair, given we're about as Northerly as bits of Germany. Parts of the South Downs share a common geology with Champagne, and so UK fizz is not uncommon either. You're really pushing your luck growing a red wine here, although it can be done in warmer years.
Really, though, we're more suited to making beer

Well I have several vineyards around my neck of the woods. And several breweries

Obviously I live in Heaven

Except there are no Tea plantations

I am requiring of mindbleach and a large mug of tea, please. Just watched 'Rambo' with TheMen. An aged Stallone surrounded by blood, guts and assorted body parts and bits of body parts.

Tea... please.

*takes tea with thanks*
*and insomnia*

My insomnia is not helped by Chanelle who is insisting on a midnight bokking from the top of the henhouse. I'd put her inside once already tonight, but she'd sneaked out and got back on the top of the henhouse. So there's me thinking a fox had somehow got into the hen run. But no, it was simply madam being a right little madam whilst her sisters are fast asleep *inside* the henhouse...

Tea please! It's been an eventful day - as we unloaded the first run this morning my boss trod on a pebble, went over awkwardly on his ankle and dropped the box of glass he was carrying. And then lay on the floor swearing.

He'd snapped a ligament in his ankle.

Amazingly, he was in and out of A and E in about an hour, and is now on crutches and light office duties. (well, from tomorrow, he went home, understandably).

I do hope he wasn't dancing at the time...

No, just carrying a box of bottles.

I've stumbled a couple of times myself, stepping off a kerb into an unseen pothole. I've been lucky though not to do more than graze a knee.

I was a bit twitchy anyway. Mum was in hospital after having an arythmic heart episode while at her diabetes clinic - she has them sometimes, but as they 'caught it' on the heart monitor at the clinic, they had to admit her for check ups.

She's home again now, and on beta blockers. She's off to see my sister and the kids next week, so that will be restful... Or not. It's a shame Oli hasn't got his birthday present yet - it's a doctor set. Mind you, he'd only want to check her reflexes with the hammer all the time....
