Lots of peeps here this afternoon!

Tea please, I am trying to enter the Government Gateway, and do my Tax form on-line. I shall be on Mastermind next week on this very topic.

I had to take my tax stuff in for the new job today - I took a P60 and a P45, although of course I'm not leaving a job to start this one, so it's not the latest P45 so to speak.

Boss rang Payroll, and thry said they'll send me a P46 to fill in. Is there a P form for every number from 45 to 60? And what about 1 to 44?

On the subject of gear shifters, I was wondering about bar end shifters, my, they are expensive! And the couple of shopping websites I looked at so far don't seem to specify what bar diameter shifters fit on...

Oh and here's how useless I am. I was thinking today, hang on I have an 8 speed twist grip on my 7spd cassette FCR, so maybe an 8 spd shifter would do. And then I counted the sprockets, and there are 8. I was convinced it was 7... (Shows how many of my gears I use!)

I must read more Sheldon....

I am the proud owner of an HMRC Portal key... I may emerge in Dewsbury by accident.
Until then, I'll take a steaming cup of cheer...

AFAICR, most flat-bar orientated gear shifters fit a 22.6 mm bar. I think you may struggle to get anything other than thumbshifters on a fatter bar - thumbies have a more flexible bracket and you can fit a longer bolt if necessary.

I has a silly new avatar!!!! *twirls*

Oh, I suppose it'll have to be thumbshifters then, if I want the moustache bars - I don't know yet if I'll get on with them.

My other thought was butterfly bars, what diameter will they be? (I know, I know, I can find out, but why bother when I can ask over a cup of tea?)

I have enrolled, registered, got my Activation Code, and my User Id, (these two are both 12 characters long). Then it decided to not recognise my password, the help desk suggested using HMRC instead of the Gateway. Can I borrow your Portal Key?

Next week I am applying for a job at GCHQ Cheltenham.:biggrin:

Butterfly bars *are* standard 22.whatever-it-is. Tried them meself once and didn't get on too well with them, but that's just me...

Have a look...

I'd like to make the moustache bars work, and get on with them. Butterflies seem like the next best, although I've never used them either...

Cool pics. Funnily, there was a thing on radio last night about the Starbucks logo being a mermaid, which made me realise I had absolutely no idea what the Starbucks logo was - I mean I'd recognise it, but couldn't have described it...
