*Runs to kitchen to check*. Bog standard Yorkshire brew. The hard water variety is green but can still barely cope with the hard East Yorkshire water.

Mermaids = Coffee.
Makes perfect sense to me.

It's like 'Ratsbucks' luring unsuspecting coffee drinkers onto the rocks with their songs of Latte'........?

Well...
While we're on the topic...
When I venture into Costas and order a Latte, DO NOT 'CORRECT' MY PRONUNCIATION!!!
It's pronounced Lat ay. Not Lar tay. I speak Italian, you clearly do not.:tongue:
And breathe....

My office has a number of Geordies in it. Round here, frothy coffee is known as la''ie. (You have to do a glottal stop where the ''s are).

Arch, what about down tube gear levers? Or levers mounted on the stem?

I've got a set of 8-speed down tube levers in The Box. We gave a bike to BikeRescue that had double stem levers. They were friction ones, but the stem-mount could be used as a mount for the 8-speed indexed ones....

Is Uncle Phil saying they call it Lassee in Geordie Land?

Should not he have put t instead of s?

Do I have to shout to be understood?

Do you think I am a complete nincompoop?

Have you got those cannibals over the river yet? ;)

;):smile:
