Fuggin Brilliant!!

My STI levers that I ordered yesterday arrived this morning!

*slurps celebratory tea and hands out biscuits*

Now I must be patient and wait until this afternoon when I have new cables, etc. before doing anything........

What, anything? You've just sat there all day? ;)

Tiring day today for some reason. Tea is most welcome.

Of course I didn't do nuffink, I just made sure I did all my other jobs first rather than rush putting the bike back together or stopping the job half way to do something else.

I was quite proud of myself.

<gives Arch's shoulders a rub>

"There ya go chuck!" ...

Cheers!

I've just renewed the plasters on my dog bites, since I had the drawer out anyway to inventory the contents.

It's green drinks tonight - a monthly get together of local green type people, and various of the recycling team go. I can't be arsed. I always end up stuck at a table with people I don't know, who are terribly earnest. Does that make me a curmudgeon? I'd rather chat to you lot.

And knit, I have to knit. I have to finish a toddler jacket for the end of the month, and it's moss stitch, which is annoyingly slow. And I still have a front and a half, and both sleeves to do.

When you said 'green drinks', was I the only one thinking of Absinthe?

Well I was thinking "Wheat Grass"

No Arch - it doesn't make you a cur - curm - what you said. And so we are all very honoured that you prefer us.

Here - have this biccie - I've been saving it for a special occasion  Ooh - can you knit and eat biccies?

Nice day here today. I been painting garage doors and gates and getting stuck into my gently rotting porch. Hope the weather stays fine till I've got it rebuilt and painted. Meantime I must also get some (s)miles in on the bike.

I'd need to grow another hand to do them simultaneously, but I can alternate well...

I'm currently munching my spahetti alla tono alla formaggio sauce.
